This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Les segments ("we", "our"). It governs your use of the Les segments mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install and do not use the App.
1. License grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with this Agreement and with the applicable app store policies (App Store, Google Play).
2. User conduct and restrictions
You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws. In particular, you may not:
- use the App for illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes;
- tamper with your Strava data, your times or your GPS coordinates in order to distort a leaderboard;
- record an activity on a running segment using a motorized means or any other assistive device;
- post, share or distribute objectionable, abusive or offensive content, including hate speech, harassment, discrimination or sexually explicit material;
- impersonate any person or entity;
- attempt to hack, disrupt or interfere with the operation or security of the App, its servers or the Strava API.
3. Zero tolerance for cheating and abuse
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward cheating and abusive behavior, including:
- tampering with GPS data, editing activities or duplicating an effort in order to obtain a better leaderboard position;
- any form of harassment, intimidation or threat against other athletes;
- spreading misleading information designed to harm others;
- promoting illegal activities.
Any breach may result in invalidation of the performances, immediate termination of the account and, where appropriate, a report to the relevant authorities.
4. Moderation and reporting
The App offers a reporting system that lets users flag inappropriate content or behavior. We reserve the right to review, moderate and remove any content that breaches this Agreement or the Terms of Use.
In case of doubt about the validity of a performance (obviously unrealistic time, inconsistent route, wrong activity type), we may temporarily suspend the result pending verification.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, in case of breach of this Agreement. You can also delete your account at any time from the Settings > My account screen.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including injuries or incidents incurred during a challenge run.
7. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after notification of the changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
